On the other hand, Bollywood queen Aishwarya Rai Bachhan is also not performing in the upcoming awards due to her pregnancy. Aishwarya and Abhishek will not attend the grand award ceremony that is scheduled to take place from 23rd to 25th June at Toronto.

Aishwarya Rai, 37, married Bachchan's actor son, Abhishek, 35, in April 2007. The child will be their first and comes after weeks of media speculation in Indian gossip columns about the actress' fluctuating weight.
Bachchan Senior later said on the micro-blogging site that he was "overwhelmed" with the response to the news from followers and had received 2,843 Tweets of congratulation in just half an hour.
The pregnancy was confirmed earlier in the day, he wrote on his blog, early Wednesday, adding: "There is joy and happiness around us," he added.

Ex-couple Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Salman Khan were the most searched celebrities on net in the month of May, according to a recent survey.Salman Khan ’s latest movie, Ready, was named the most popular film of the month. He’s also been in the news for his charity work. He is followed by Shahid Kapoor at number two, Shah Rukh Khan at three, Akshay Kumar at four and Aamir Khan at five.
The survey pegged Rai as number one after the announcement of her movie Heroine at the Cannes Film Festival. Next in line is Katrina Kaif, followed by Kareena Kapoor. Rounding off the list are Sonam Kapoor at number four, and Zarine Khan at number five.
